Application Scope:

Vapor Phase Drying (VPD) plant is mainly applied for drying (under vacuum state) all kinds of high voltage insulation products for transmission and distribution transformer industry, such as: ultra high voltage transformer (110kV~1100kV), power capacitor, high-voltage CT/PT, high-voltage bushings, power cable, etc.

Characteristics:

The working principle of VPD plant is: kerosene is heated and evaporated under vacuum state and becomes high-temperature kerosene vapor. Kerosene vapor will be condensed when contacts with the lower-temperature products so as to release latent heat to heat up the products. The condensed kerosene (liquid state) will be collected and returned to evaporator where it is evaporated again and repeats above steps for several times. As a result, temperature of product is rising continuously, the moisture in products are also evaporated out and the water vapor will be pumped out of autoclave by vacuum system to achieve a thorough drying.

Heat exchange efficiency of VPD plant is higher than that of any other heating methods; its drying performance is very stable, which is the first choice for drying high-voltage insulation products at present.

Our vapor phase drying plant is developed by introducing and absorbing the foreign advanced technology, now it has been successfully used by many well-know companies, such as: Siemens, ALSTOM, State Grid Corporation of China, China Southern Power Grid Corporation, TBEA Co., Ltd., China XD Group Corporation, Baoding Tianwei Electric Co., Ltd, etc.
